Want your tile to sparkle? At Lone Star Pro Services, we use advanced tile and grout cleaning equipment like our high-industry rated 370 Truckmount and technologically advanced Hydro-Force SX-15 Hard Surface Cleaner. This state-of-the-art equipment allows our IICRC certified technicians to effectively eliminate dirt, soil, and other particles from your home’s tile and grout.
Step 1: Pre-inspection
We will perform a thorough inspection of your home’s tile to identify loose grout, chips, cracks, or any other potential problems.
Step 2: Pre-treatment
Next, we will apply an emulsifying cleaning solution to the tile and grout lines.
Step 3: Agitation
After applying the solution, we will agitate the grout lines with a unique grout brush in order to break hard, more stubborn particles away from the cracks and crevices in the grout.
Step 4: Turbo Wash
On appropriate surfaces such as glazed tile and some stone floors, we may use a high-pressure Turbo washing tool to wash away dirt and debris. The washing tool prevents the overuse of moisture and allows your floor to dry fast, leaving behind a clean, sparkling floor!
Even if your home’s tile is already clean, it may be experiencing other minor problems. For example, is the tile in your floor loose or have chips? Does the grout in-between your tile look damaged or stained? At Lone Star Pro Services, we have the tools and expertise to repair any of these issues you may be having with your current tile and grout. In addition, if you’re in need of installing a brand-new tile floor, we can assist you throughout the entire process. Whether you’re trying to clean tile, repair broken tile, or update your floor with new tile, we can help you with all of your tile and grout restoration and replacement needs.
Step 1: Removing Pre-existing Tile
Our professional technicians will first inspect the current floor to determine if there are any signs of moisture around the tiles that could affect the subfloor underneath. Then, we will carefully remove the pre-existing tiles by prying each section as not to damage the subfloor.
Step 2: Tile Installation
Once the old tile has been removed, we will then prepare the subfloor surface for tile installation. We will strip, sand, dust, and sweep the area to ensure that the surface is flat and does not have any moisture or debris. Once we have confirmed that the floor is ready to receive the new tiles, we will spread mortar and/or grout across the area where the tile will be placed, and then set the tiles.
Step 3: Post-Tile Installation
In order for your tiles to be fully set, you must allow 48 hours for the mortar and grout along the tile to completely cure and dry before walking on your new floor. Keep the area moisture free during this period so the tile is better able to dry.
